Will promotion to the National league be a blessing or curse. Feels like the promotion to the National League South has broken the team at this point.

I know this isn’t your style, but I’m sure no-one would mind if you booked a pre-season friendly against a big London premier league side to net a bit of a windfall. It doesn’t sound too outlandish for one of them to play a local cash-strapped national league south side for an early fitness friendly/bit of community goodwill.

One notable thing in the news was that Aylestone Park knocked out recently relegated Nottingham Forest. Aylestone Park are in Tier 9 in real life. Here, they are a National League North club. As the club is based in Leicester, they have a chance of being a future NLTL starting club for Kev if they continue promotions.

So sad to lose the Cup Run in a close match, but I have hope for the Season. Leave the rest to Best.

Kev is a better man than me. I would have given up/save scummed long before this. I hope for Kev and our sakes that he gets to the third round at least and gets a big club away to at least clear the existing debt. It shouldn't matter in real life but I'm emotionally invested.

BWM's typically go chasing down the opposition, vacating their position in the middle of the park. This isn't ideal if there's two of them. Therefore if you want control/coverage in the center, then it's more effective to pair a BWM with say a CM, DLP, DM etc. The perfect balance of Gattuso and Pirlo comes to mind.

It would be unfortunate for the series to peter out due to the financial issues, so I hope the cup run continues. Sure, there may have been some things that could've gone better along the way, like a few seasons of paying for youth player wages at the start and that friendly some seasons back which cost some 40k if I remember correctly. But at the end of the day one of the biggest issues in playing FM at such a low league level is that the finances almost never add up and if you don't climb the leagues quickly enough you will keep piling on debt. It's not as if you can balance the books by selling players at this level.

Definitely would be doing some reloads in that next match if it doesn’t go to plan to keep the save from dying a slow death in the financial manager series

It would be better if you got a big prem side in 4th or 5th round of the fa cup if you make it that far to really maximise the funds
